Accessibility of the attractions
This website mentions for every attraction the respective requirements for getting access to them. Certain attractions are only accessible if the child is accompanied by an adult or require special attention from the parents and companions.
Moreover every attraction has its own rules. These are indicated by way of safety pictographs on the separate attraction signs in the park.
Toilets can be found in every Plopsa restaurant or in their neighbourhood. They can be used for free. Especially adapted toilets have been provided for our disabled visitors. The majority of these toilets are accessible to wheelchair users.
Plopsa aims at obtaining maximum security for its visitors; therefore we give this aspect all the attention that’s needed. All our attractions are checked and tested daily by the park’s technical service. Furthermore they all comply with the most stringent standards imposed by Belgian law and/or the German TÜV.
With the exception of the Wienerwalz and the SpringFlyer swing rides, the Pirate Ship, and the Anubis coaster all the attractions have been designed for children measuring 1 meter and more, either accompanied by an adult or not. Thanks to the clever park design our youngest visitors can horse around uninhibited and in all safety. And also the park’s regulations and the special guide for the disabled have been drawn up in such a way, that we can guarantee all visitors the highest security at all times.
Plopsa asks its visitors to wear proper (outer) clothes, not only for reasons of hygiene, but also for security reasons and out of respect for the children and the other visitors.
Any objects that are lost, are collected at the reception desk, which is at the park’s entrance. Have you lost something, then we’ll ask you to complete a ‘Lost’ form. As such we can make sure that any objects found are returned to their rightful owner.
Children that are staying with host families in summer (Euro-Children, the children of Chernobyl, the Romanian (orphan) children, …) can visit the park for free, provided the conditions below are fulfilled:
1. they have some proof of identity or a badge of their organisation on them;
2. they are accompanied by 2 paying visitors at least, each of them buying an individual ticket at the Plopsa park’s cash desk.
The First Aid station is right across the children’s traffic park, nearby the park’s entrance. Parents can come here to report and collect any lost children.
In order to make our disabled visitors’ and their companions’ stay at the park as comfortable as possible, we've compiled a special guide for them. This guide gives all the special information they might need and is provided at the park’s cash desks and reception desk.
On the quiet days the attractions are opened alternately.
At the access control every visitor receives a free plan of the park. This ‘Plan & Info’ document makes sure no visitor gets lost... Furthermore you’ll find signposts and large information panels at numerous locations in the park.
Besides a map of the park these information panels mention the locations and times of the various shows and meetings (Meet&Greets) with the Plopsa characters.
Plopsaland is easily accessible for wheelchair users as it has been equipped with several special facilities for them. Provided they have been booked in time, wheelchairs can be provided for free at the reception desk.
